Ircon International Limited has informed the Exchange regarding 'Board Comments on fine levied by the Exchanges for the quarter ended 31st March, 2026'. The Board noted that the fine imposed by the Exchanges for non-compliance with Regulations 17(1), 18(1) and 19(1)/19(2) of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 is unreasonable and not applicable to IRCON. The Board also approved the appointment of Shri Saleem Ahmad as Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) on additional charge and designated him as CEO and KMP of the Company.

Ircon International Limited, in a Joint Venture (JV) with M/s Badri Rai & Company (Ircon's share 26%), has received a Letter of Award from Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited (TSECL). The domestic works contract is valued at INR 763.10 Crores (including GST), with Ircon's share amounting to approximately INR 198.41 Crores. The project involves the design, engineering, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of an Underground Power Cable Network and Smart Grid applications for the Agartala Municipality Area. This significant order is to be executed within 24 months, enhancing the company's order book and future revenue visibility.

Ircon International Limited announced that its current Chairman & Managing Director, Shri Hari Mohan Gupta, will superannuate on June 30, 2026. Subsequently, Shri Saleem Ahmad, who is currently the CMD of Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd. (RVNL), will assume additional charge as CMD of Ircon. This interim arrangement, directed by the Ministry of Railways, is for a period of one year starting July 1, 2026, or until a regular CMD is appointed, whichever is earliest. The company will undertake necessary compliance actions for his appointment.
