Godawari Power And Ispat Limited has announced the commencement of commercial operations at its 6.91 MW Waste Heat Recovery (WHR) Based Power Plant, effective June 23, 2026. This new plant, located at the company's existing integrated steel facility in Siltara Industrial Area, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, utilizes waste heat from the flue gas generated by its Pellet Plant and Ferro Alloys Division. This initiative is expected to enhance operational efficiency, reduce energy costs, and contribute to the company's sustainability efforts by converting waste heat into usable power.
