Subsequently, the Income Tax Department filed an appeal with the Income-tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT) against the favorable order passed by CIT(A). The Company on October 9, 2025 had informed the stock exchanges regarding receipt of combined order from the ITAT for the AY 2012-13, AY 2015-16, AY 2016-17 and AY 2017-18, wherein ITAT has partly allowed the appeal. In this regard, please note that the Company has received an Intimation under Section 245 of the Income Tax Act, 1961 from the Centralised Processing Center, Income Tax Department, Bengaluru, on August 7, 2026 at 10:25 a.m. stating that the Refund amount of ₹ 96,96,37,540 for AY 2025-26 has been adjusted against the demand arising out of the reassessment order dated May 29, 2023 under Section 147 of the Income Tax Act, 1961 passed by the Assessing Officer for the AY 2015-16.
