Coal India Limited has been awarded a contract by Bundelkhand Saur Urja Limited to set up a 600 MW solar plant at Jalaun Solar Park in Uttar Pradesh. The contract is worth Rs. 2831.11 crore and is to be executed within 18 months. The promoter group of Coal India Limited has no interest in the entity that awarded the contract.
