Petronet LNG Ltd has signed a binding term sheet with Gruner Renewable Energy Private Limited to form a joint venture company for setting up Compressed Bio-Gas (CBG) plants in various states across India. The joint venture will have 50:50 equity participation and will establish 10 CBG plants each of 18 MT per day capacity with an estimated capital outlay of Rs. 1,200 crore.
