Re: Update on proceedings relating to the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process – Appeal filed by
Canara Bank before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India
Dear Sir/Madam,
In continuation of our earlier intimations on the captioned subject, including our intimation dated May 4, 2026,
and pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI LODR Regulations, we wish to inform you that Canara Bank has
appealed, before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, against the order dated May 4, 2026, passed by the
Hon’ble NCLAT in favour of the Company (“NCLAT Order”).
In this regard, please note that no interim order, stay or other interim relief has been granted against the NCLAT
Order, dated May 4, 2026, which accordingly continues to remain in force.
The matter is listed for hearing before the Hon’ble Supreme Court on September 24, 2026. The Company remains
confident of its stand and committed to upholding the Company’s strong governance standards and protecting
stakeholder interests.
