The Additional Commissioner of CGST and CX, Mumbai East, alleged that the Company has misclassified certain products at concessional rate of 5% as against 12% for the financial year 2020-21. The GST official has proposed to determine Tax liability at Rs. 36,38,70,979 and proposed to levy penalty of Rs. 36,38,70,979, for such misclassification. The Company is in the process of responding to the notice after receiving the relevant facts basis thereon above demand has been determined. The information required in terms of Regulation 30 read with Clause 8 of Para B of Part A of Schedule III of the Listing Regulations and SEBI Master Circular No. HO/49/14/14(7)2025-CFD-POD2/I/3762/2026 dated 30th January 2026 and Industry Standards on Regulation 30 of the Listing Regulations, are enclosed as ‘Annexure-I’.
