The AGM was chaired by Shri Brijendra Pratap Singh, CMD, NALCO. Company’s Functional Directors along with Independent Director, CVO, Senior officials from Ministry of Mines, GoI, and Company Secretary were also notably present at the AGM. Addressing the shareholders, Shri Brijendra Pratap Singh, highlighted NALCO’s record operational and financial performance during FY 2025–26, describing the year as a landmark year for the Company. He said that the achievements reflect NALCO’s resilience, strategic foresight and operational excellence, and reinforces its role in strengthening India’s aluminium value chain and contributing to the national vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat and Viksit Bharat. During FY 2025–26, NALCO achieved its highest-ever operational performance across key parameters. This operational excellence translated into record financial results, with the Company posting its all-time highest Revenue from Operations, Profit Before Tax, and Profit After Tax. The year also marked peak sales in major segments, including Domestic Alumina and Aluminium Metal. These achievements underscore NALCO’s strong fundamentals, efficient operations, and ability to deliver sustainable value in a dynamic business environment. Reaffirming its commitment to creating enduring value for shareholders, NALCO paid an interim dividend of ₹10.50 per equity share, amounting to ₹1,928.46 crore, during FY 2025–26 in three tranches. In addition, the shareholders during the 45th AGM held today, have approved the final dividend of ₹1.00 per equity share, amounting to ₹183.66 crore. ======================================================= Speaking on the Company’s future outlook, Shri Singh said that the demand outlook for aluminium in India continues to remain favourable and is expected to stay on a strong growth trajectory. Underscoring NALCO’s growth plans and long-term strategic priorities, Shri Singh highlighted the Company’s key expansion initiatives, including the 5th Stream Expansion of the Alumina Refinery at Damanjodi, development of Pottangi Bauxite Mines, augmentation of captive coal capacity, and the proposed expansion of the Aluminium Smelter and Captive Power Plant at Anugola. He also outlined NALCO’s strategic initiatives in critical minerals, resource and energy security, circular economy, digital transformation, waste-to-wealth and renewable energy, aimed at strengthening the Company’s competitiveness, enhancing operational resilience and creating sustainable long-term value Shri Singh expressed his gratitude to the Government of India, particularly the Ministry of Mines, for its continued guidance and support. He also acknowledged the cooperation extended by the Government of Odisha and local administrations in facilitating the Company’s operations and growth journey.
