Shree Renuka Sugars Limited (“SRSL” or “the Company”) is one of the prominent diversified
integrated agribusiness and bio-energy companies engaged in sugar manufacturing, refining,
ethanol production, generation of renewable energy and manufacturing of branded sugar
products. The Company’s integrated business model helps in creating value and making the
best use of resources for food and energy security of India and in promoting transition towards
a low carbon economy.
SRSL’s long-term business strategy is based on sustainability. The Company further
consolidated its sustainability initiatives in FY 2025–26 by scaling up ethanol production
to fuel the Ethanol Blended Petrol (EBP) programme, further strengthening its renewable
energy generation initiatives through bagasse-based cogeneration, water conservation and
circular resource management initiatives, and implementing afforestation and community
development initiatives. Underpinned by responsible governance and stakeholder-focused
growth, SRSL is dedicated to developing sustainable value and making a positive impact on
the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report (BRSR) for FY 2025–26 is prepared as
per the Regulation 34(2)(f) of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements)
Regulations, 2015. It is a testament to SRSL’s continuous efforts to align with globally
acknowledged sustainability frameworks such as the United Nations Sustainable Development
Goals (UNSDGs) and it reiterates the Company’s long-standing commitment to Environmental,
Social and Governance (ESG) principles.
Wherever possible, data for previous years has been rationalised to ensure consistency and
comparability between reporting periods.
