Pursuant to Regulation 30(7) of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements)
Regulations, 2015 read with Para B (8) of Part A of Schedule III, and in continuation of our earlier
intimation referred to above, we wish to inform that the Hon'ble Bombay High Court has passed its
judgement in the writ petition No. 3530 of 2022 (cid:976)iled by the Company against the Mumbai (Bombay)
Port Authority (MBPA), and, inter alia, quashed and set aside the noti(cid:976)ications, circulars, speaking
orders and demands notices issued by the Port Authority relating to the revision of rent/Scale of
Rates (SOR) and retrospective demands from 2012 upto March 31, 2024. The Court has further
observed that (cid:976)ixation of rent by the Port Authority from April 1, 2024 shall be fair, reasonable and in
accordance with the principles laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court.
Further material developments, if any, in this matter shall be intimated to the Exchange in a timely
manner, in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
The relevant details as required under Regulation 30 Read with Schedule III of the Securities and
Exchange Board of India (“SEBI") (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations,
2015 (“LODR”) and SEBI Circular No. HO/49/14/14(7)2025-CFD-POD2/I/3762/2026 dated January
30, 2026 is enclosed herewith as Annexure – A.

Board of India (“SEBI") (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015
(“LODR”) and SEBI Circular No. HO/49/14/14(7)2025-CFD-POD2/I/3762/2026 dated January
30, 2026:

orders, circulars, and demand notices that sought
to impose revised SOR’s retrospectively or
recover differential lease/tenancy arrears have
been quashed and set aside. The Court has also
held that after 31 March 2024 MBPA is free to (cid:976)ix
rents, provided such (cid:976)ixation is fair, reasonable,
and not pro(cid:976)iteering in nature, in line with the
principles laid down by the Supreme Court.
