He is currently Chief Executive Officer (Designate) of the Company. Prior to that, he was overseeing the Engine Plants of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M) at Chakan and Igatpuri and had driven volume ramp-ups by approximately 3X over the past five years to meet engine requirements for Passenger Vehicles (PV) and Commercial Vehicles (CV) such as Scorpio, Thar, XUV700, XUV300, XUV3XO, XUV7XO, Bolero Pickup, and Veero, while also supporting MTBD, Powerol, and Defence needs. Mr. Kshirsagar has been instrumental in driving Manufacturing Digitization and transition towards Manufacturing AI. His expertise encompasses processes across Machine Shops and Assembly Lines for Engines, Tractors, and Two-Wheelers. He played a key role in the merger of Mahindra Heavy Engines Ltd. (MHEL) with M&M in 2025. He has significantly contributed to the Deming and JQM Award journey in Farm Division (FD), implemented TPM across both Automotive Division (AD) and FD, and initiated and drove the "Engine No Testing" approach in AD, resulting in lower carbon emissions, reduced capex, and improved lead time and productivity. His core competencies include system implementation, process know-how, and statistical problem-solving tools, coupled with hands-on Lean Manufacturing Practices. Mr. Kshirsagar leads sector-level cross-functional teams (CFTs) for Gender Diversity, TPM-JH implementation, and Machining. Over his 25- year tenure at Mahindra, he has held increasing positions of responsibility, including Product unit head - Farm Division Kandivali, Manufacturing Head FD Zaheerabad, and Plant Head Mahindra Two Wheller (MTWD) Indore, managing new product launches, volume ramp-ups, and sustainable delivery systems.
