The global economy in 2025-26 continued to face challenges from geopolitical tensions, trade protectionism, and volatility in commodity prices. Despite this, India has remained one of the fastest-growing major economies in the world. The Indian steel industry has also shown resilience. Demand has been supported by the Government's continued focus on infrastructure, housing, railways, and manufacturing under initiatives like Gati Shakti and PLI schemes. Urbanization and growth in the automobile and construction sectors are further driving steel consumption. However, the industry also faced headwinds inthe | form of fluctuating raw material prices, particularly coking coal and iron ore, rising energy costs, and increased competition from imports. At the same time, there is a strong global push towards green steel and decarbonization, which is reshaping the way the industry operates. Against this backdrop, I am pleased to share that your Company has delivered improved performance during the year. During the year under review, the Company achieved total revenue from operations of % 882.85 Crores as against = 801.76 Crores in the previous year. Profit Before Tax stood at = 12.09 Crores as against % 8.65 Crores last year. This growth was driven by better capacity utilization, improved product mix, and our continued focus on operational efficiency and cost control. Iam also very pleased to share a key strategic initiative that we have undertaken during the year. In line with our commitment to sustainability, energy security, and cost competitiveness, we have commenced work on a 130 MW Solar Power Plant for captive consumption at our Janjgir-Champa facility in Chhattisgarh. The primary objective of this project is to reduce our dependence on conventional power and generate a significant portion of our electricity requirement through renewable energy. This will lead to substantial savings in our power cost and also provide us insulation from future tariff volatility, thereby improving our overall operating margins. Beyond cost benefits, this initiative is a critical step in our ESG and decarbonization journey. The global steel industry is moving rapidly towards green steel, and customers are increasingly preferring low-carbon products. Our solar plant will significantly reduce our carbon footprint and position Mahamaya as a responsible and future-ready organization that is aligned with global sustainability standards. Equally important is the aspect of energy security. Captive solar power will ensure greater reliability and quality of power supply to our operations, leading to improved plant efficiency and reduced production disruptions. This project involves a total capital outlay of approximately 600 Crores and is being funded through a mix of internal accruals and debt. We expect to commission this plant within the next 6 to 8 months. We are confident that this investment in green energy will not only strengthen our cost structure but also create long-term value for all our stakeholders. As communicated earlier, the Company had identified the development of a Logistics Park on approximately 100 acres of land behind our plant as a future growth opportunity. The land for this project is owned by the Company and is located at a prime location. which gives us a distinct advantage Since our primary focus and capital commitment this year is towards the 130 MW Solar Power Plant, we plan to take up the Logistics Park project in the coming years. This initiative will help us diversify our business and create an additional source of revenue for the future. Looking ahead, we remain optimistic about the demand outlook for steel in India. With continued infrastructure spending and industrial growth, we expect the positive trend to continue. At Mahamaya, our focus will remain on enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, adopting green energy and building a more sustainable and future-ready organization. In conclusion, I would like to thank all our stakeholders - our Board of Directors, employees, shareholders, bankers, customers and suppliers - for their continued trust and support. It is your confidence that enables us to grow stronger each year. With best regards: Rajesh Agrawal Managing Director NOTICE Mahamaya Steel Industries Limited (CIN: L27107CT1988PLC004607) Regd.
