the CLARION 64/128-Slice AI-Driven CT System in India. The launch reinforces TMIV Imaging’s
commitment to advancing intelligent, efficient and sustainable healthcare delivery by integrating
advanced engineering, artificial intelligence and intelligent clinical workflows. The initiative marks
another step towards strengthening India’s medical imaging ecosystem and enabling faster, precise,
accessible and technology-enabled diagnostic care.
Time Medical International Ventures (TMIV Imaging), a wholly owned subsidiary of Fischer Medical
Ventures Limited, marked an important milestone in advancing medical imaging technology in India
with the launch of its CLARION 64/128-Slice High-Performance AI-Driven CT System at the India
Health Expo 2026. The system was formally launched by Dr. Sunil K. Khetrapal, Deputy Director
General, Association of Healthcare Providers India (AHPI), in the presence of healthcare leaders,
industry representatives, and stakeholders from across the sector.
The launch reflects TMIV Imagings’s continued focus on bringing advanced, intelligent, and
clinically relevant imaging technologies to the Indian healthcare ecosystem. The CLARION CT
platform combines high-performance imaging hardware with AI-driven workflow capabilities to
support greater diagnostic precision, operational efficiency, patient throughput, and reliability across
a broad spectrum of clinical applications.
At the heart of the system is an advanced Liquid Metal Bearing (LMB) X-ray tube with 360° liquid
metal cooling, designed for superior heat dissipation, stable focal spot positioning, continuous high-
speed operation, and extended tube life. Its Aegis Detector System is engineered to enhance image
clarity and low-contrast detectability while supporting low-dose imaging protocols.
The platform further incorporates intelligent workflow capabilities including three-click scanning,
AI-assisted automatic patient positioning using a quad-lens depth camera, and remote-control
functionality, helping simplify CT operations and improve workflow efficiency.
Available in scalable configurations extending up to 128 slices, the CLARION platform addresses
requirements ranging from routine diagnostic imaging to advanced cardiac, vascular, neurological,
thoracic, abdominal, orthopaedic, and interventional applications. The 64-slice configuration with a
91 cm bore expands its suitability for vascular imaging as well as intraoperative applications, while
the 128-slice configuration supports advanced clinical procedures requiring higher temporal
resolution.
Beyond conventional diagnostic imaging, CLARION has been designed to extend CT into the
interventional and surgical environment. Its Big Bore CT-on-Rail configuration enables mobility
between clinical scenarios and supports hybrid operating room integration, real-time surgical
imaging, procedural guidance, and Angio CT integration with DSA. Advanced capabilities such as
4D CT phased acquisition can also support respiratory monitoring and improved tumor targeting
during radiotherapy by helping reduce motion-related artifacts.
The launch was graced by Dr. Sunil K. Khetrapal, a distinguished healthcare administrator and policy
advocate with more than three decades of experience spanning hospital management, healthcare
strategy, quality systems, institutional transformation, and patient safety. In his role as Deputy
Director General of AHPI, Dr. Khetrapal has been closely associated with initiatives aimed at
