Acutaas Chemicals’ step-down subsidiary Indichem Inaugurates
Semiconductor Materials Plant at Gongju, The Republic of Korea
Built in eleven months, the venture will synthesise chemicals in India and refine to semiconductor
grade materials in The Republic of Korea (“South Korea”), next door to its customers
Gongju, South Korea, August 28, 2026: Acutaas Chemicals Limited (BSE: 543349, NSE: ACUTAAS), a leading
India-based manufacturer of specialty chemicals and pharmaceutical intermediates, today announced that
Indichem Inc., its step-down subsidiary in South Korea, has inaugurated its semiconductor chemicals
manufacturing plant at Gongju, Chungcheongnam-do. The plant was inaugurated at a ceremony held today at
the facility.
KEY HIGHLIGHTS
State-of-the-Art Facility Commissioned: Semiconductor materials plant inaugurated at Gongju,
Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea, completed within 11 months of its September 29, 2025

Expansive Footprint: Land spans 16, 513.7 sq. m. across three buildings – main production block,
combined headquarters/R&D/pilot plant, and warehouse – with additional land available on-site for
expansion
Strategic Venture: Acutaas Advance Material Limited (“AAML”) (a wholly owned subsidiary of Acutaas
Chemicals Limited) and J & Materials Co. Ltd respectively hold 75:25 stake in Indichem Inc. AAML has
invested KRW 30 billion (approx. ₹200 crore) in Indichem Inc.
Synergistic Two-Country Model: Chemicals synthesised in India; refined, tested and qualified to
semiconductor grade in South Korea, close to customers base, enabling operational & technological
synergies
Ultra-High Purity Standards: Niche materials require parts-per-billion purity levels, demanding deep
technical expertise and rigorous quality control
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Naresh Patel, Chairman & Managing Director, Acutaas Chemicals Limited, Said:

ABOUT INDICHEM INC.
Indichem Inc. is a South Korean company incorporated in 2025 as a joint venture between Acutaas Advance
Material Limited (“AAML”), a wholly owned subsidiary of Acutaas Chemicals Limited (India), and J & Materials Co.,
