Impact of such guarantees or indemnity EIM is an associate entity of REL in which REL holds 49.54% or surety on listed entity equity shares stake. MIPL has agreed to make available electric truck batteries on operating lease facility basis to EIM. For this transaction of operating lease for securing payment obligation EIM had requested to REL for providing corporate guarantee with limit as mentioned above. We request you to note that, providing a Corporate Guarantee is in the overall interest of the REL as it will help EIM an associate entity to expand its business operations. EIM is a separate legal entity having its own assets and financial resources. The present paid up equity share capital of EIM is Rs. 109.62 Crore and Net-worth Rs 361.22 Crore. Since corporate guarantee is a non-fund based contingent liability, it has no immediate financial impact on the REL.
