Additional Director General, Mumbai Zonal agency where litigation is filed, brief Unit, Directorate General of Goods & Services Tax Intelligence details of dispute/ litigation (“Additional Director, DGGI, MZU”) Court/ Tribunal/ Agency where litigation is filed: The show cause cum demand notice (“SCN”) was received from Additional Director, DGGI, MZU for GST demand along with applicable interest and penalty thereon. Brief details of dispute/ litigation: The SCN has been received alleging non-payment of GST on variable management fee by Alps Hospital Limited, a wholly- owned subsidiary of the Company. The management is in process of filing submissions against the aforesaid demand. 2. Expected financial implications, if any, due ▪ Alleged GST demand: ₹55,23,52,071/- and applicable to compensation, penalty etc. interest. ▪ Alleged Penalty: 1. ₹55,23,52,071/- under Section 74(1) and 74A(5)(ii) of the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017; and 2. ₹55,23,52,071/- under Section 122(2)(b) of the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017.
