It is further informed that as per the provisions of SOP Circular issued by Stock Exchanges, HMT Limited is in the process of applying for the waiver of fines imposed. HMT Limited being a Government Company, all the Directors shall be appointed by the Government of India in terms of Articles of Association of the Company. The Administrative Ministry has been requested to appoint requisite number of Independent Directors including one Independent Woman Director on the Board of Directors of the Company to comply with the aforesaid Regulations. Subsequent to quarter ended 30.06.2026, Shri. Dharmender Varada and Smt. Seema Mishra were appointed as Independent Directors on the Board of Directors of the Company w.e.f. 17th August, 2026.
