Sub: Disclosure under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure
Requirements) Regulations, 2015 – Update
This is pursuant to Regulation 30(7) of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure
Requirements) Regulations, 2015 and further to our communication dated July 28, 2026, in
connection with the demand notice dated July 27, 2026 (‘Demand Notice’) issued by the
National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (‘NPPA’) for alleged overcharging under the Drugs
(Prices Control) Order, 2013 with respect to Betaloc-50 (Metoprolol 50 mg tablets).
We hereby inform that, the Hon'ble High Court of Delhi, vide its order dated August 24, 2026,
has stayed the operation of the aforesaid Demand Notice until the next date of hearing i.e.
February 10, 2027, subject to the Company depositing 15% of the amount mentioned in the
Demand Notice with the Registrar General of the Court.
Further, please find the details as required under the SEBI Circular HO/49/14/14(7)2025-
CFD-POD2/I/3762/2026 dated January 30, 2026 attached herewith as Annexure – A.

1352(E) dated 02.06.2016 in respect of
Betaloc-50 tablets. This has allegedly resulted
in overcharging during the period of June to
July 2016, for which NPPA has demanded
recovery of the overcharged amount along with
applicable interest
The Company challenged the Demand Notice
before the Hon'ble High Court of Delhi. Vide
order dated August 24, 2026, the Hon'ble High
Court of Delhi has stayed the operation of the
Demand Notice until the next date of hearing
i.e. February 10, 2027, subject to the Company
depositing 15% of the amount mentioned in the
Demand Notice with the Registrar General,
Delhi High Court. The Company is taking
necessary steps in this connection.
