Utkarsh Small Finance Bank's Board of Directors has approved the appointment of Mr. Sarjukumar Pravin Simaria as Whole-time Director (Executive Director) for a three-year term, effective June 22, 2026, with prior RBI approval. Mr. Simaria, formerly the bank's Chief Financial Officer, brings over three decades of financial sector experience to this new strategic leadership role. Concurrently, the Board sanctioned raising up to ₹500 crore through the issuance of Unsecured, Subordinated, Redeemable, Tier II bonds on a private placement basis. This capital infusion will strengthen the bank's additional Tier II capital, enhancing its financial base for future growth.
