initiatives, we have expanded our
customer base and enhanced
profitability. These efforts have

DEAR STAKEHOLDERS,
Warm greetings from the Chemcon family!
It gives me great pleasure, on behalf of the Board of Directors and the entire team at Chemcon, to
welcome you to the 37th Annual General Meeting of your company.
Despite the global economic headwinds, our team has worked with unflinching rigor and
resilience to bring about 15.7% Sales growth in these tough market conditions. This force has
also been instrumental in delivering operational excellence.
OUR PERFORMANCE
The global chemical industry continued to face multiple headwinds during the year, including slower
demand across key international markets, aggressive competition from Chinese manufacturers,
inventory corrections, volatile raw material prices, and geopolitical uncertainties.
Against this backdrop, Chemcon delivered a strong operational performance. Revenue from
operations increased by 15.7% to ₹240.0 crore from ₹207.4 crore in the previous financial year,
supported by improved demand across key products, better customer engagement, and favourable
product realisations.
Annual Report 2025-26 1
The sharp increase in raw material costs and other input expenses, however, exerted pressure on
margins during the year. Consequently, EBITDA stood at ₹30.2 crore, while Profit After Tax was ₹23.6
crore, reflecting a decline of 8.2% and 3.7%, respectively, compared with the previous year.
While profitability was impacted by the challenging cost environment, our focus on operational
efficiency, prudent cost management, and disciplined execution enabled us to maintain a healthy
financial position and create a strong platform for future growth.
Our Organic and Inorganic Chemicals businesses recorded improved volumes and better realisations
across several key products. Products such as Bromobenzene and 2-Bromo received encouraging
acceptance across pharmaceutical, agrochemical, aromatic chemicals, and other Speciality Chemical
applications. Strengthening customer relationships and expanding our product pipeline continue to
reinforce our long-term growth strategy.
STRENGTHENING CORE CAPABILITIES
During the year, we made significant progress in integrating the business acquired through the slump
sale of Shivam Petrochem Industries. Integration activities, regulatory approvals, and licence transfers
are progressing as planned, and we expect the acquired business to begin contributing to revenues in
the coming years.
This acquisition significantly enhances our manufacturing capabilities and broadens our presence
across bulk drugs, Speciality chemicals, chemical intermediates, and solvents. It also provides a strong
platform for introducing new products, expanding our customer base, and creating sustainable long-
term value.
LOOKING AHEAD
As we look ahead, we see a world undergoing significant structural transformation. Global supply
chains are being reconfigured, customers are increasingly seeking reliable and diversified sourcing
partners, and demand for Speciality and advanced materials continues to grow.
India is uniquely positioned to benefit from these shifts, and Chemcon is well prepared to play a
leading role in this evolving landscape. Our integrated platform, diversified portfolio, and execution
capabilities provide a solid foundation to capitalise on emerging opportunities.
The outlook for Chemcon remains promising, fuelled by the vast opportunities that lie ahead. We are
strategically positioned to leverage our profound expertise across multiple chemistries to drive
sustained growth.
IN CLOSING
I am immensely proud of how we have navigated a demanding economic climate while staying true to
our core values.
