Existing capacity utilization The existing operational lithium battery manufacturing capacity at the Company’s Greater Noida facility is approximately 0.5 GWh, with capacity utilisation of approximately 70%. 3. Proposed capacity addition The Company proposes to add 1 GWh of lithium battery manufacturing capacity at its Ratlam Plant, Madhya Pradesh, in addition to the earlier announced 2 GWh expansion at the same facility. 4. Period within which the proposed capacity | The proposed capacity is expected to be is to be added commissioned and commence commercial operations by Q2 FY 2026-27. 5. Investment required The estimated investment/ budget for the proposed incremental capacity addition of 1GWh is approximately ¥5 crore. 6. Mode of financing Internal accruals 7. Rationale The proposed capacity addition is aimed at strengthening the Company’s lithium battery manufacturing capabilities, enabling it to cater to the anticipated market demand and supporting its growth plans in the energy storage segment. Upon completion of the earlier announced 2 GWh expansion and the proposed additional 1 GWh capacity, the lithium battery manufacturing capacity at the Ratlam Plant is expected to reach approximately 3.5 GWh.
