New Delhi, 21th August 2026 NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited, has emerged as a successful bidder in the e-reverse auction conducted by SECI for Selection of RE Power Developers for Assured Peak Supply of 6000 MWh (1500 MW x 4 Hrs.) from ISTS-Connected RE Projects in India, under Tari(cid:431)-Based Competitive Bidding (SECI-FDRE-IX). Under the terms of the Request for Selection (RfS), NTPC Renewable Energy Limited has secured 500MW Contracted capacity at a discovered tari(cid:431) of ₹6.00/kWh in the aforesaid tender. The e-reverse auction was concluded on August 21st , 2026.
