Date of Appointment & Term Appointed by the Board of Directors of the Bank vide of Appointment resolution approved by circulation on 06.07.2026 for a period of three years from the date of his taking charge. Mr. Gopalakrishnan V.N will be taking charge on 13.07.2026. Brief Profile Mr. Gopalakrishnan V.N is a seasoned banker with more than 40 years of experience across various financial institutions such as ESAF Small Finance Bank, Federal Bank Limited, EXIM Bank. Mr. Gopalakrishnan V.N was the Deputy Vice President in the Vigilance department of ESAF Small Finance Bank, where he was in the Vigilance department for 6 years and has handled investigations, Preventive Vigilance and Training. He was the AGM - Operations in EXIM Bank, Djibouti, East Africa. He had extensive exposure to Forex & Trade Finance, Credit, Branch Banking, Vigilance, and Risk Management during his tenure in Federal Bank Ltd. Mr. Gopalakrishnan V.N has wide experience in varied areas of banking including core banking operations, vigilance, fraud prevention & compliance, risk management, credit, forex & trade finance, governance, and ESG across various financial institutions. Mr. Gopalakrishnan V.N holds an MBA and a degree of Bachelor in Law. He is also a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB) and also holds a Certification in Small Finance Bank Operations.
