In continuation to our earlier disclosure dated 14.08.2026 regarding appointment of Smt.
Bharati Raman Gotarna as a Non-official (Independent) Director (NoD) on the Board of
Shipping Corporation of India Limited (SCI) and pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI
Listing Regulations, we have enclosed herewith the remaining requisite details in terms of
Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations, 2015 as amended, read with SEBI Master
Circular dated 30th January, 2026 and other relevant circulars.
The appointment of Smt. Bharati Raman Gotarna was subject to the allotment of her Director
Identification Number (DIN) and her registration with the Independent Directors Databank.
Accordingly, upon completion of the requisite statutory formalities, the appointment of Smt.
Bharati Raman Gotarna (DIN: 11902357) as a Non-official (Independent) Director (NoD) on
the Board of SCI has become effective from 19.08.2026.
In terms of Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations, as amended, read with SEBI
Master Circular dated 30th January, 2026 and other relevant circulars, Smt. Bharati Raman
Gotarna is not related to any Director of the Company and is not debarred from holding the
office of director by virtue of any SEBI order or any other such authority. Brief profile of Smt.
Bharati Raman Gotarna is attached as Annexure-1.
