(INDIA) Phone: +91-9928070682 Email: companysecretary@gravitaindia.com PRESS RELEASE Gravita to set up Copper Recycling plant at Mundra Jaipur, August 19, 2026: Gravita India Limited (“Gravita” or the “Company”), a leading global recycling company, is pleased to announce its plans to add 59,200 Metric Tonnes Per Annum (MTPA) of copper recycling capacity at its Mundra, Gujarat facility. Key Highlights • Planned Capacity Addition: 59,200 MTPA of copper recycling capacity in phased manner • Location: Mundra, Gujarat • Capital Expenditure: Approximately ₹ 64.00 crores • Strategic Focus: Expansion of non-ferrous metal recycling capabilities • Funding: To be funded through internal accruals The proposed copper recycling capacity will be primarily involved in the processing of copper- bearing recyclable materials, enabling the Company to recover copper and other valuable materials through its recycling capabilities. The planned 59,200 MTPA capacity addition will also serve as a backward integration initiative for the proposed Mandvi plant in Gujarat, strengthening the Company’s raw material sourcing and processing capabilities and creating greater operational integration across its copper recycling value chain. The proposed capacity addition is expected to be commissioned in phases by March 31, 2029. The planned capacity addition marks another significant step in Gravita’s strategy to strengthen its presence in the non-ferrous metal recycling segment and capitalize on the growing demand for recycled copper across domestic and international markets. This incremental copper recycling capacity will further strengthen the Company’s capabilities at its existing Mundra facility. The facility’s strategic location in close proximity to one of India’s major ports provides logistical advantages for sourcing raw materials and serving both domestic and international markets.
