At United Foodbrands, we recognize that our growth as a premier hospitality platform is inextricably linked to this global agenda, and we have meticulously mapped our ESG initiatives against these goals to ensure our operations drive meaningful, long-term impact. 1. Good Food & Responsible Sourcing We contribute directly to SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) and SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) by focusing on the integrity of our supply chain. We are committed to reducing artificial additives in our dishes and ensuring that our key food items, especially seafood sourced from BAP-certified facilities and poultry sourced from suppliers complying with HACCP-based food safety standards. By prioritizing food safety and traceability, we ensure that our culinary growth remains responsible and healthy. 2. Environment & Conservation To support SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) and SDG 13 (Climate Action), we are actively working to minimize our ecological footprint. Our efforts include transition to biodegradable, food-safe cleaning chemicals. We view waste not as an endpoint but as a resource, implementing management practices to reduce food loss and promote circularity within our kitchens. 3. Employee well-being & diversity Our workforce is our greatest strength, aligning us with SDG 5 (Gender Equality) and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth). Through initiatives like Hunar Ki Udaan, we invest in the professional development of our team members. We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive workplace where diversity is celebrated, and every employee has access to the training and support needed to build a long-term career in hospitality. 4. Community & Inclusive growth We believe in growing alongside the communities we serve, supporting SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). By intentionally sourcing from MSMEs and Self-Help Groups, we ensure that our procurement spend drives local economic empowerment and builds resilient partnerships. We also support local ecosystems by procuring chicken and meat supplies from state co-operatives. UNITED FOODBRANDS LIMITED | BRSR 2025-26 //BUSINESS RESPONSIBILITY AND SUSTAINABILITY REPORT 03 Message from the Managing Director It is with immense pride and a strong sense of responsibility that I present the United Foodbrands Limited’s Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report (BRSR) for FY2026. As we continue to expand our presence across India and international markets, we remain committed to building a business that delivers sustainable long-term value while operating responsibly towards our customers, employees, partners, communities and the environment. At United Foodbrands, we believe that responsible business practices are integral to building a resilient, future-ready organization. In a consumer-facing and people-intensive industry such as hospitality, factors such as food safety, responsible sourcing, employee well-being, operational efficiency and environmental stewardship are critical to sustaining stakeholder trust and long-term growth. Accordingly, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles are being progressively embedded into the way we make decisions, manage operations and scale our business. Our sustainability framework is anchored around four strategic pillars that guide our approach towards responsible growth. Our fish is sourced from HACCP-certified facilities, ensuring adherence to critical food safety standards. Additionally, our chicken products are procured only from processors certified for food safety compliances. ENVIRONMENT & CONSERVATION Reducing our environmental footprint and improving operational efficiency remain key priorities across our restaurant network. We continue to focus on lowering energy consumption through IoT-based energy management systems, deployment of Variable Frequency Device (VFD) panels and adoption of energy-efficient technologies across outlets. In addition, we continue to strengthen our environmental infrastructure through air scrubbers, smoke eliminators, grease traps, waste management and recycling initiatives aimed at improving air quality, wastewater treatment and overall resource efficiency. Our efforts also include reducing single-use plastics, promoting biodegradable and food-safe cleaning solutions, and implementing structured waste reduction and circularity initiatives across operations. EMPLOYEE WELL-BEING & DIVERSITY Our employees remain at the heart of our organization and growth journey.
