Thanking you, FOR, LAPL AUTOMOTIVE LIMITED NEERAJ SATYAPRAKASH GOYAL MANAGING DIRECTOR DIN: 00871808 Enclosure: press release LAPL Automotive Limited Commences Construction of Unit IV Manufacturing Facility and Receives Three New Vendor Codes Aurangabad, 19th August 2026 – LAPL Automotive Limited (BSE SME: 544863), an integrated automotive components manufacturer engaged in the design and manufacture of automotive lighting systems, mirrors, motors and plastic moulded components, today announced two developments – one on the manufacturing side of the business and one on the customer side – that together support its next phase of growth. Bhumi Pujan and Commencement of Construction of Unit IV LAPL Automotive Limited has completed the Bhumi Pujan and commenced construction of its upcoming Unit IV manufacturing facility at Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra. The ceremony, performed at the project site in the presence of the promoters, the senior management team and employees of the Company, marks the formal start of construction work on what will be the Company’s fourth manufacturing unit. The expansion is aimed at supporting future growth, enhanced manufacturing capabilities and increasing customer requirements. Each of these objectives responds to a specific need. On growth, the new unit is intended to give the Company the physical footprint to scale production beyond what its present facilities allow. On capability, it is planned to house manufacturing and testing infrastructure that supports a wider and more technically demanding product mix, including lighting systems, electrical accessories and electronic components. The new facility is intended to provide additional manufacturing space and infrastructure to support the Company’s future requirements and product portfolio. The Company also intends to progressively increase in-house manufacturing capabilities at the facility. Construction will proceed in phases, with the Company obtaining the applicable approvals, registrations and certifications from the relevant authorities at each stage of implementation. Three New Vendor Codes from Leading Automotive Companies LAPL Automotive Limited has received three new vendor codes from leading automotive companies, expanding its access to upcoming RFQs, development programmes and sourcing opportunities. A vendor code is the formal supplier registration issued by an automotive customer once a component manufacturer has been evaluated and approved under its sourcing framework. The assessment typically covers manufacturing capability, quality management systems, plant audits, engineering and design capability, testing infrastructure and delivery readiness. Approvals of this nature are earned over time and are not granted routinely, which is why the addition of three new codes is a meaningful step for the Company. Once a vendor code is in place, the supplier becomes eligible to receive enquiries and to participate in sourcing processes for current and forthcoming vehicle programmes. In practical terms, the three approvals place LAPL Automotive in consideration for business across the product platforms of the respective customers, at the stage where requirements are still being defined rather than after sourcing decisions have been made. The award of any specific order remains subject to the customers’ own commercial and technical evaluation. The vendor codes strengthen the Company’s OEM engagement and future business pipeline. They also support its broader objective of widening its customer base across vehicle segments, so that its order book draws on a larger number of relationships over time. Mr. Neeraj Satyaprakash Goyal, Chairman and Managing Director, LAPL Automotive Limited, commented: “The Bhumi Pujan of Unit IV is an important moment for LAPL. Over the past two decades we have added capability unit by unit, and this facility is the next stage of that journey – giving us the space and the infrastructure to serve the growing requirements of our customers and to bring more of our manufacturing in-house. Alongside this, the three new vendor codes open the door to enquiries and development programmes that were previously outside our reach, and reflect the confidence these customers place in our engineering and quality systems. Capacity without customer access, or customer access without capacity, would take us only so far. Building both together is what gives us a stronger platform for the next phase of growth.” About LAPL Automotive Limited LAPL Automotive Limited (BSE SME: 544863) is an integrated automotive components manufacturer operating across the Original Design Manufacturing (ODM) and Original Brand Manufacturing (OBM) models, with a diversified portfolio spanning automotive lighting systems, mirrors, motors and plastic moulded components.
