On behalf of entire Baroda Extrusion Limited family. I would like to warmly welcome all of our shareholders, investors, participants to our first investor meet and earning call. I, myself, Alpesh Kanugo, Managing Director of Baroda Extrusion Limited. Along with me today, I have Vaishali Joshi, Company Secretary, and Amrit Purohit from the finance team. We are very pleased to have all of you with us. Today, 13th August, marks exactly 35 years since the formation of Baroda Extrusion Limited. That was 13th August 1991. Today is the exact 35th year, and today is the date. For us, this is not just a day. It represents 35 years of entrepreneurship, manufacturing, relationships, challenges, learnings, and most importantly, perseverance. The foundation of Baroda Extrusion Limited was laid by my late father, Shri Parasmalji Kanugo. His entrepreneurial journey started in Mumbai's Gulalwadi area, where he was involved in the trading of metal products. From trading, he gradually moved towards manufacturing. During the 1980s, he entered into manufacturing of galvanized poles for the Gujarat electricity board, then after manufactured stainless steel Matka Pavali tapes, which became well known in the market under the Lion brand. He subsequently entered the copper industry through a drawbench operation for copper pipes, but his vision was always larger. He wanted to build a manufacturing business with great capabilities and greater value addition. That vision led to the establishment of Baroda Extrusion Limited. With capabilities extending from melting to extrusion and finished copper and copper and other products. At that time, there were very few such integrated copper manufacturing facilities in Gujarat and India. Over the last 35 years. BEL has experienced several different phases. Like any manufacturing company with long operating history, we have faced our share of challenges, including fire incidents in ‘97, difficult conditions held in global copper market. There was some crisis in Japan in ‘97. The whole Sumitomo Copper Company, due to that, there was sudden recession. Liquidity pressures and other financial and operation challenges over the years. These were difficult periods, but they also taught us some of the most important lessons about running a business. For us, the most important principles have always been integrity, financial discipline, commitment to customers and suppliers, and the willingness to work through the difficult situations. Our family and our team have remained committed to the principles. And today, when I look back at those difficult years, I do not look at them simply as setbacks. I look at them as experiences and made BEL stronger, the rebuilding and transformation of the company. Today, BEL is in a substantially stronger position, some of the key aspects at our present positions are, we are virtually debt-free, we have a positive net worth, the business is cash profitable, we have built long-standing relationships with customers and suppliers. We have 5 BIS licenses, enabling us to serve a wider range of application and specifications. We have an adequate lendback support to support our present requirement and future expansions. We have a customer base of more than 700 customers. Our product portfolio covers solid products, hollow products, sections, nuggets, and various customized and customized copper and copper alloy products. One of our key strengths is our ability to manufacture different specifications and grades according to customer requirements. This capability, combined with our BIS certification and our location in Baroda, being power electrical engineering hub in manufacturing, provide us with a stronger position in the electrical and Power Industry Ecosystem. We believe this is an important long-term strategic advantage of BEL. Here, I would pronounce Baroda Extrusion Limited as BEL somewhere. Having strengthened the company's financial position and operating platform, our focus is now increasingly shifting towards growth and value addition. We are evaluating and 13TH August, 2026 | 3:00 P.M. IST finalizing our exposures plans in a planned manner. One of the important investments being considered is a heavy capacity hydraulic Extrusion press. The proposed press and other machines would enable us to manufacture a wider range of copper as well as copper alloy products. We see this as an important step in the next phase of BEL’s development. At the same time, we tend to remain disciplined. In our approach to capital expenditure. Our object is not simply to increase capacity. Our objective is to create profitable capacity, increase value addition, and build sustainable long-term growth. Our customer base and market opportunity. With more than 700 customers across different applications and product requirements, BEL has developed a diversified customer base. We serve customers requiring different forms and specifications of copper products, including solid, hollow, and section products. The increasing requirement for reliable electrical infrastructure, power equipment, transformers, switch gears, data centers, EV vehicles, and other electrical applications provides a favorable long-term environment for copper demand. Looking ahead, as we complete 35 years, I believe BEL is an interesting point in its journey. The first 35 years were about building the foundation, gaining experience, and overcom [Showing first 8,000 characters — download PDF for full document]
