Consequent upon appointment and assumption of charge of the post of Director (Finance) by Shri Amol Babulal Taori, Dr. Yatindra Dwivedi, Director (Personnel) relinquished additional charge of the post of Director (Finance) on 18th August, 2026. Brief profile (in case of Shri Amol Babulal Taori (DIN: 11890590) is a Chartered appointment); Accountant with nearly 30 years of rich and diverse experience across Finance, Treasury, International Trade, Marketing, and Compensation Management. Prior to his appointment as Director (Finance), POWERGRID, Shri Taori served as Executive Director (In- charge) – International Trade at Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), where he managed crude procurement of approximately 700 kbd, product imports and exports, chartering/shipping arrangements, and oil price risk management. During his career, Shri Taori has managed one of India’s largest corporate treasuries for over a decade and spearheaded HPCL’s maiden USD bond issue, achieving one of the most competitive pricing spreads by an Indian issuer. He also conceptualised the Oil Bond Swap, which helped reduce borrowing costs, and facilitated HPCL’s first foreign currency swaps and revolving line of credit. He represented HPCL at global equity and debt roadshows, contributing significantly to strengthening investor confidence. He has also been a Trustee of all the employee benefits trusts of HPCL.
