We would like to invite reference to a recent article appearing in Moneycontrol.com under the
title “RBI questions 'nexus' between Equitas SFB and Unico Housing Finance”, whose link is

In this regard, consistent with the Bank’s philosophy to make proactive disclosures to
Exchanges, we would like to submit the following clarification regarding certain contents in
the article:
Extract from the article Factual Clarification
“RBI questions "nexus" between Equitas SFB The word “nexus” seems to indicate existence
and Unico Housing Finance” of transactions or a relationship between the
Bank and Unico Housing Finance Private
Limited (“Unico”) which are not in line with
regulatory guidelines.
However, except one deposit transaction
(details given below), placed by Unico with
the Bank about two and half years back, in the
normal course of business and at arm’s length
in line with regulations on related party
transactions, there have been no other
transactions of any type between these two
entities either before or after till date.
Therefore, in the absence of any transaction or
relationship at all between the two entities
(except for that one deposit), the question of
there being a ‘nexus’ between the two entities
does not arise.

given any loans to Unico till date and the bank
does not intend to do so in the future either.
