Accordingly, pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 read with SEBI circular SEBI/HO/CFD/CFDPoD- 1/P/CIR/2023/123 dated 13th July 2023, an update on the pending litigation, disclosed earlier on 15th January 2025, is enclosed as “Annexure-1”. The details of any change in the The CESTAT Department had originally proposed a status and / or any development in Central Excise duty demand of Rs. 1.59 crore along relation to such proceedings; with applicable interest and penalty, based on the difference between the sales reported by the Company in the P&L and ER-1 returns. After adjudication, the said demand was reduced to Rs. 32,41,768 (comprising Tax amounting to Rs. 16,20,884/-; Interest as applicable; and Penalty amounting to Rs. 16,20,884/-). Subsequently, the Commissioner (Appeals), CGST & CEX, Belapur, Navi Mumbai, rejected the Company's appeal and passed the order on 15.01.2025. The Company, thereafter, filed an appeal before CESTAT, Mumbai against the Commissioner (Appeals) order as aforesaid, along with the necessary supporting documents, within the prescribed time limit. CESTAT, vide Final Order No. A/85956/2026 dated 31 July 2026 (received by the Company on 17.08.2026 at 9:45 am), has set aside the aforesaid impugned Order and allowed the appeal in favour of the Company thereby setting aside the entire demand aggregating to Rs. 32,41,768/- (comprising Tax amounting to Rs. 16,20,884/-; Interest as applicable; and Penalty amounting to Rs. 16,20,884/-). As a result, the demand under the adjudication Order stands annulled and there is no further liability arising from the said Order.
