Message to Stakeholders
Dear Stakeholders,
As we reflect on FY 2025-26, CCL Products (India) Limited remains steadfast in its commitment to inclusive growth and the
rigorous disclosure standards established by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). We are pleased to present our
Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report (BRSR) Core for the financial year 2025-26, which articulates our strategic
progress across Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) dimensions, guided by the nine principles of the National Guidelines
for Responsible Business Conduct (NGRBC).
During the reporting year, we navigated a dynamic operating environment marked by evolving market dynamics, supply chain
complexities, and intensifying competition. Our unwavering focus on operational excellence, strategic value chain partnerships,
renewable energy integration, employee development and innovation-led product diversification enabled us to create sustained
value for all stakeholders, shareholders, employees, farming communities, supply chain partners and the planet.
We believe coffee has the power to create lasting positive impact. Our goal is to grow it in ways that protect the environment,
help farmers earn fair incomes, support local communities and drive innovation that serves people. We achieve this through
good science, fair treatment of employees and honest business practices. This year's report shows what we delivered on these
commitments.
How We Made a Difference in the year 2025-26:
Circular Economy Integration
Building on our proven success, the Company continued to optimize the circular value of spent coffee waste by deploying it in
boiler operations for steam generation. This initiative not only minimizes dependence on fossil coal but also diverts organic waste
from landfills, embodying our commitment to resource efficiency. We continue to explore innovative avenues to extract wealth
from waste through process optimization and design interventions, recognizing that circularity is integral to long-term business
resilience and environmental stewardship.
Renewable Energy Acceleration
Our Company remains committed to increasing the use of renewable energy and reducing its environmental footprint through
investments in clean energy initiatives. During FY 2025–26, electricity generated from the existing 0.9 MW solar power plant at
the Kuvvakolli manufacturing facility, together with the newly commissioned 100 kW rooftop solar power system at the Corporate
Office in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, helped avoid approximately 971 tCOe of Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions, while renewable
electricity procured from external sources accounted for 5.78% of the Company's total electricity consumption. Overall, 80% of
the Company's total energy consumption during FY 2025–26 was met through renewable energy sources, comprising renewable
power purchase agreements (PPAs) and renewable fuels. The Company also approved an investment under the Group Captive
mode through a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) to access approximately 7.9 MW of renewable wind and solar power, supporting
cost optimization, energy security, and its sustainability objectives.
Sustainable and Responsible Sourcing
During FY 2025-26, suppliers representing 90% of our procurement spend affirmed commitment to our Responsible Sourcing
Policy through contractual adherence. The policy emphasizes ESG principles—fair wages, prevention of child/forced labour,
ethical practices and environmental stewardship—ensuring responsibility cascades across our value chain.
Human Capital and Employee Well-Being
The Company strengthened employee well-being beyond statutory requirements through educational scholarships, housing loan
reimbursement, enhanced HR practices, and comprehensive learning and development programmes. The Company also provided
Group Term Life Insurance (GTLI) coverage for employees, a Workmen Compensation Policy for workers, Group Health Insurance
coverage for employees and workers, and free annual health check-ups for all worker men. These initiatives enhanced emplo
