Date of appointment / August 17, 2026. cessation (as applicable) & Term of appointment; The tenure of Mr. Ratheesh R, as Head -Training in the cadre of General Manager has been extended on a contract basis for a further period of one year with effect from August 17, 2026. 3. Brief profile (in case of Mr. Ratheesh R is a seasoned banking professional appointment); with over 39 years of extensive experience, having started his career in 1984 with the erstwhile Corporation Bank. He retired as General Manager from Union Bank of India in April, 2023. During his banking career, he had held diverse roles across branches and controlling offices in major cities, gaining expertise in credit portfolio management, MSME & Large Corporate Lending, Export Credit, Risk evaluation and Stressed Asset Recovery Management etc. He had also served as a faculty assistance for NIBM, Pune. He joined the Karnataka Bank Limited as 'Head-Training' at Staff Training College, Mangaluru on 17.08.2023 in General Manager cadre on contract basis for a period of three years. His qualifications include CAIIB and various certifications from the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance, covering Credit, Ethics, Strategic Management and Risk. 4.
