The details of any change in the status and/ or any On 24.08.2020, the Department of development in relation to such proceedings Telecommunications ("DoT") issued a demand notice for INR 8.56 Crores against Sterlite Technologies Limited (“the Company”) alleging violation of the terms of its IP-I Registration. This demand was duly contested by the Company and the dispute was adjudicated before Justice Kailash Gambhir (Retd.), Ld. Sole Arbitrator. The Company successfully secured a favourable Arbitral Award dated 17.05.2023 that quashed the demand raised by DoT in its entirety. DoT challenged the said Arbitral Award under Section 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 before the Hon'ble High Court of Delhi. The Hon’ble Court dismissed the said petition, thereby upholding the Arbitral Award in the Company’s favour with zero financial or operational exposure. b.
