Management Commentary
Commenting on the performance, Vishal Jain, Chairman & Managing Director, Susan Electricals India Limited, said:
“We are pleased to have delivered strong growth in Q1 FY27, supported by robust execution, an evolving product mix
and improving EBITDA per unit across our product portfolio. The performance reflects the continued strengthening of
our execution capabilities, customer relationships, and presence across the power transmission and distribution
ecosystem.
A key strategic focus for us is the continued shift in our product mix towards LT and HT Cables and MVCC, where we
see greater value addition and stronger margin potential compared with our traditional Winding Wire business. The
cIhRang Pe ain rotunr erervenue mix during the quarter reflects this strategic direction, with higher-value cable products
contributing an increasingly larger share of our business. We believe this transition will support further improvement in
EBITDA per unit and overall profitability.
Our unexecuted order book stood at approximately ₹142.39 crore as of June 30, 2026, providing strong near-term
revenue visibility, with a significant portion expected to be executed over the next three months. In addition, our active
order pipeline of approximately ₹150 crore provides further visibility for sustained growth in the coming quarters.
We are also making steady progress on our capacity expansion plans, which remains on track for commercial
operations from February 2027 onwards. The proposed expansion will add 4,500 Km p.a. of capacity, increasing our
installed capacity from 7,500 Km to 12,000 Km p.a., representing a 60% increase. This additional capacity will
strengthen our ability to cater to growing demand across LT, HT, and other higher-value cable segments.
Going forward, supported by strong demand visibility, faster execution capabilities, an improving product mix, and
better operating leverage, we expect to sustain our multifold growth trajectory through FY27.
