Dr. Sachin B. Sabnis, born on 16th February 1972, is a first- generation entrepreneur and industrialist with over three decades of experience in the engineering and manufacturing sector. He completed his schooling at St. Paul’s High School and graduated in Mechanical Engineering from K.L.E. College of Engineering, Belagavi, Karnataka, in 1993. In 1995, he embarked on his entrepreneurial journey by establishing M/s Sai Founders & Engineers at Udyambag, Belagavi, as a small foundry. He promoted M/s Sai Metals, another company in 2001 at Machhe, Belagavi. After gaining valuable hand-on experience in engineering and manufacturing Mr. Sabnis founded Belgaum Ferrocast India Pvt. Ltd. (BFPL) in 2006. As the Managing Director, he has played a pivotal role in the company's growth, technological advancement, customer development and expansion into Brief profile (in case of domestic and international markets. Dr. Sabnis has been actively associated with industry bodies, professional organisations and social institutions.
