Dr. Sachin B. Sabnis, born on 16th February 1972, is a first- generation entrepreneur and industrialist with over three decades of experience in the engineering and manufacturing sector. He completed his schooling at St. Paul’s High School and graduated in Mechanical Engineering from K.L.E. College of Engineering, Belagavi, Karnataka, in 1993. In 1995, he embarked on his entrepreneurial journey by establishing M/s Sai Founders & Engineers at Udyambag, Belagavi, as a small foundry. He promoted M/s Sai Metals, another company in 2001 at Machhe, Belagavi. After gaining valuable hand-on experience in engineering and manufacturing Mr. Sabnis founded Belgaum Ferrocast India Pvt. Ltd. (BFPL) in 2006.
