Indian Energy Exchange (IEX) is India’s premier energy marketplace that provides a nationwide automated trading
platform for the physical delivery of electricity and related products, including Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs)
and Energy Saving Certificates (ESCerts). The customers of the Company comprise its members and the clients of such
members. The Exchange has a robust and diverse ecosystem of participants, which includes member participants,
distribution utilities, power generators, renewable energy and ESCerts participants, and Open Access consumers. These
participants represent a wide range of sectors, including metal, food processing, textile, cement, ceramic, chemicals,
automobiles, information technology, institutional consumers, housing and real estate, and other commercial entities.
The membership structure of the Exchange includes proprietary membership, trader membership, and facilitator
membership.
