While challenges such as geopolitical uncertainties, supply chain disruptions, inflationary pressures, and fluctuating fuel prices persisted, India's robust economic growth and increased investments in infrastructure created significant opportunities for the sector. Financial Performance Despite a challenging operating environment, NECC delivered healthy profitability through disciplined cost management and enhanced efficiency: e Stable Revenue Base: Revenue from operations stood at Rs. 308.04 Crores, reflecting a modest decline of 6.3% compared to the previous year. Other income grew significantly from Rs. 0.71 Crores to Rs. 6.29 Crores, highlighting diversification success. e Cost Optimization: Total expenses reduced by 4%, from Rs. 316.39 Crores to Rs. 303.67 Crores, underscoring operational discipline. e Profitability: Profit before tax was Rs. 10.66 Crores, while profit after tax stood at Rs. 7.75 Crores though lower than last year, these results demonstrate resilience. e Comprehensive Income & EPS: Total comprehensive income was Rs 7.93 Crores, with Earning Per Share at Rs. 0.78, reflecting continued shareholder value creation. Corporate Social Responsibility As a responsible corporate citizen, NECC remains committed to contributing towards the development of society. NECC contributed approximately Rs. 21.10 Lakhs towards CSR initiatives during FY 2025-26, primarily focusing on education, and supporting the holistic development of children through the NECC Foundation.
