Commenting on the performance, Chairman and Managing Director of Manorama Industries, Mr.
Ashish Saraf said:
“We have commenced FY27 with strong momentum, delivering a robust revenue growth of 39.5% YoY
in Q1 FY27 and surpassing the INR 4,000 million quarterly revenue milestone for the first time.
Profitability increased by 67.6% YoY, reflecting sustained demand across key end-user industries,
deeper customer engagement, and the growing contribution of our value-added specialty fats and
butters portfolio. Our performance reflects the strength of our integrated business model, deep
sourcing capabilities, and our ability to consistently execute on opportunities emerging in the global
specialty fats market.
During the quarter, we achieved several strategic milestones that reinforce our long-term vision of
building a globally integrated specialty fats platform. To strengthen its Shea sourcing network in West
Africa, the Company incorporated Manorama Savannah Agro Chad SARL, a wholly owned subsidiary
in Chad. Additionally, we acquired ~10 hectares (24 acres) of land in Burkina Faso for our Shea seed
processing facility, with regulatory approvals currently underway, further enhancing supply chain
integration and proximity to key customers. These initiatives continue to strengthen our raw material
ecosystem, enhancing sourcing security, traceability, and long-term competitiveness.
The successful completion of our QIP further strengthens our balance sheet and provides us with the
financial flexibility to pursue growth opportunities across manufacturing, sourcing, and value-added
product segments.
These investments are aligned with our strategy of expanding our global presence while creating a
resilient and scalable supply chain across geographies.
Looking ahead, we remain confident in the long-term growth prospects of our business. Our expanding
product portfolio, strengthening customer partnerships, growing presence in cocoa butter alternatives,
and continued investments across the value chain position us well to deliver sustainable growth and
create lasting value for all stakeholders.”
