The annual outage is planned to undertake routine annual maintenance of critical equipment and utilities, statutory inspections, deep cleaning and replacement of worn components across key equipment. Major maintenance activities includes overhauling of paper machines, boilers, digesters and the 34 MW turbine with a view to ensuring reliable and efficient operations. Annual outage costs are fully provided for in the FY 2026-27 Annual Operating Plan as part of routine maintenance expenditure.
