## Built on Trust: Syncom Formulations Reports Strong Q1 Growth
*Consolidated income and profitability improve significantly over the corresponding quarter,
supported by an ethical, prescription-led model*
**Mumbai, 11 August 2026** — Syncom Formulations (India) Limited (BSE: 524470 |
NSE: SYNCOMF), a WHO-GMP and ISO 9001:2015 certified pharmaceutical company,
today reported a strong set of results for the quarter ended 30 June 2026, marked by healthy
growth in income and a significant improvement in profitability over the corresponding
quarter last year.
On a consolidated basis, the Company recorded total income of ₹133.36 crore for Q1 FY
2026-27, against ₹122.94 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year — a growth
of 8 per cent. Profit before tax rose 59 per cent to ₹32.25 crore from ₹20.29 crore, while
profit after tax increased approximately 58 per cent to ₹24.85 crore, compared with ₹15.75
crore a year earlier. Earnings per share improved to ₹0.26 from ₹0.17. Revenue from
operations grew to ₹125.53 crore from ₹116.90 crore, an increase of nearly 7 per cent.
The Board of Directors has recommended a final dividend of ₹0.10 per equity share of face
value ₹1 each for the financial year ended 31 March 2026, subject to the approval of
shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting.
The performance reflects the steady compounding of a business model the Company has
followed for decades — ethical, prescription-led marketing built on long-term relationships
with the medical fraternity, supported by consistent quality manufacturing and disciplined
cost control.
Commenting on the performance, **Mr. Ankit Kedarmal Bankda, Chairman & Whole-time
Director**, said: "This quarter reflects the strength of the foundation we have built — quality
manufacturing, an ethical prescription-led model, and the trust of the medical community we
have served for decades. Our focus remains on responsible, sustainable growth and on
making quality medicines accessible to every patient we can reach."
**A Deep Domestic Footprint**
Syncom's domestic business operates through six specialised divisions, supported by a
dedicated field force of over 1,000 medical representatives with a genuine pan-India
presence, engaging closely with the medical fraternity across gynaecology, fertility,
gastroenterology, critical care and veterinary medicine. Within women's healthcare, the
Company's Ovafresh and Ovafresh-M brands, marketed under the Cratus Evolve portfolio,
rank among the leading brands in the IVF and gynaecology segment nationally. Through its
generics and OTC arm, Syncom markets consumer brands including Megajoy, Asardar and
Kabz All Fine, which enjoy wide pharmacy availability across the country. A dedicated cold
chain network ensures temperature-sensitive formulations reach patients with their quality
fully preserved.
**A Growing International Presence**
Present in international markets since 2001, Syncom today exports to over 15 countries and
holds product registrations and approvals from more than 10 international regulatory
authorities.
**Manufacturing Backbone**
All products are manufactured at the Company's WHO-GMP approved facility at Pithampur,
Madhya Pradesh — a modern plant of approximately 2,50,000 sq. ft. producing tablets,
capsules, liquid orals, injectables, ophthalmics and topical preparations.
Syncom Formulations (India) Limited is listed on the BSE and the National Stock Exchange
of India, with its registered office in Mumbai.
