BRIEF PROFILE OF SHRI SHYAMAL MISRA, ADDITIONAL SECRETARY (TELECOMMUNICATION), DOT & GOVERNMENT NOMINEE DIRECTOR Shri Shyamal Misra is an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 1996 batch (Haryana Cadre). B.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur and having degree in Master's in Public Administration (M.P.A.) from the Harvard Kennedy School (Harvard University). He has held several important assignments in both the Central and State Governments during his distinguished administrative career. He served as Joint Secretary in the Department of Commerce, Government of India & Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India till August 2022, and was subsequently promoted as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs in the month of August 2022. In September 2024, Shri Misra was appointed as Chief Administrator, Trade Fair Authority of Haryana, New Delhi.
