Sub: Intimation under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and
Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 – Prohibition Order regd.
Further to our intimation dated July 18, 2026 regarding a fire incident on July 17,
2026 at one of our plants viz., Ethylene-Di-Chloride (EDC) manufacturing plant of
our Karaikal facility - Puducherry, the Inspector of Factories, Puducherry had
inspected the said plant and issued an order dated July 19, 2026 prohibiting
further usage/operation of EDC Plant and to obtain Revoke order with the
approval of the Chief inspector of the Factories, Puducherry after complying all
directives issued under the said prohibition order.
The Company is undertaking necessary corrective actions and is in the process of
submitting a compliance report with action plan for revocation of the said order.
The details required under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and
Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, read with Para 20 of Part A of
Schedule III thereof and SEBI Master Circular No. HO/49/14/14(7)2025-CFD-
POD2/I/3762/2026 dated January 30, 2026 is enclosed as Annexure – A.
