Management Commentary & Business Outlook
I am happy to share that Midwest has started FY27 on a strong note,
with Q1FY27 Revenue, EBITDA, and PAT growing 35%, 25%, and 27%
YoY, respectively. Alongside our strong operating performance, we
continue to make strategic progress in building our presence across
high-potential materials. Midwest Limited, together with Midwest
Energy Limited and NFTDC, has signed an MoU with Indonesia’s
state-owned PERMINAS to collaborate across the Critical Minerals and
Rare Earth value chain, including Rare Earth Magnet manufacturing.
With strong leadership, a robust balance sheet, diversified reserves, and
operational excellence, we are confident in our vision of building Midwest
into a world-class integrated materials processing company. Over the
next 3 - 4 years, we aim to achieve 2.5x+ revenue growth, 3x+
profitability growth and 35% ROCE, supported by ₹300 crore of
planned capex, while reducing energy consumption by 15–20%. We
also remain focused on establishing new growth verticals in Rare Earth
Materials, Heavy Mineral Sands and High Purity Quartz, and building
leadership in quartz, titanium feedstock and rare earth oxides globally.
