Commenting on the results, Mr. Gunjan Kothia, Promoter said:
Q1FY27 has been a challenging quarter for the Company. European demand has continued to remain
subdued, with a meaningful number of customers deferring orders amidst the ongoing geopolitical
uncertainty and considerable volatility in raw material markets. This has had a direct bearing on our topline
and profitability for the quarter, and I would note that the subdued demand environment has persisted into
the early part of Q2FY27 as well.
Additionally, during the quarter, our marketing and manufacturing agreement with one of our EU
distributors reached its automatic termination owing to non-performance as per the agreed terms of the
commercial agreement. This opens the way for the Company to engage directly with customers, giving us
greater control over these relationships and the opportunity to develop them on our own terms. We expect
this transition to take a couple of quarters before volumes are meaningfully restored, and we remain
confident of returning to our prior run-rate levels in the second half of the financial year.
On the CRAMS front, our engagements in South-East Asia continue to progress in line with our expectations
and timelines, and we anticipate these projects beginning to contribute to revenues from H2FY27.
Given the unexpected persistence of geopolitical headwinds, customer caution, and a visibly softer first half,
we believe it is appropriate to moderate our earlier guidance of FY27 being a year of non-linear growth. The
CRAMS pipeline remains firmly on track, Block 7 remains on course for commissioning, and the strategic
direction of the business has not changed. The strategies we have laid out are being executed with the same
rigour and intent. What we are navigating is a timing issue. The foundations we have built over the past
year or more remain intact, and we are confident that the second half of FY27 will reflect a meaningful
improvement in performance as these catalysts progressively come online.
We remain steadfast in our belief that patient, disciplined execution on the right strategic priorities will
deliver a stronger and more profitable business over the medium to long term.
