Jindal Stainless' FY26 Integrated Annual Report outlines strategic roadmap for
sustainable growth and future-ready manufacturing
• Report outlines Company's long-term strategy around sustainable manufacturing, strategic
applications, consumer engagement and ecosystem development
• Report highlights material durability, lifecycle value and recyclability as critical to India’s
infrastructure ambitions
National, August 13, 2026: Jindal Stainless, India's leading stainless steel manufacturer, released its FY26
Integrated Report - The Metal of Progress. The Strength of Tomorrow, outlining the Company's strategic
priorities for building a more resilient, sustainable and future-ready stainless steel business aligned with
India's evolving infrastructure and manufacturing ambitions.
As India progresses towards its vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, infrastructure is being designed to serve
generations. This is placing greater emphasis on material durability, lifecycle value and sustainability,
alongside upfront cost. Stainless steel is emerging as a critical material in this transition, given its corrosion
resistance, durability and recyclability. With corrosion estimated to cost the Indian economy nearly ₹14.1
lakh crore annually, according to a recent report by Nomura, Jindal Stainless' Integrated Annual Report
highlights the growing importance of corrosion-resistant and fully recyclable materials across transport,
water, energy, defence, urban infrastructure and coastal development.

Press Release
Speaking on the Company’s long-term perspective, Managing Director, Jindal Stainless, Mr Abhyuday
Jindal, said, “India's next phase of growth will be measured in decades, not years, and that changes what
we ask of the materials we build with. In FY26, from how we approached sustainability and technology to
where we invested capacity, our strategy was centred on creating long-term value for customers,
communities and the nation while contributing meaningfully to India's growth story.”
Supporting this vision, the Company continued to strengthen its manufacturing capacity during FY26. It
commissioned its 1.2 MTPA stainless steel melt shop in Indonesia ahead of schedule, increasing its global
melting capacity to 4.2 MTPA, while continuing downstream expansion across India to enhance value-
added capabilities and support emerging applications. In parallel, it deepened its portfolio of specialised
stainless steel solutions across defence, aerospace, mobility, railways and industrial applications, securing
its first commercial aerospace order for India's Small Satellite Launch Vehicle programme and continuing
to develop advanced grades for high-performance, strategic sectors.
The Company's growth strategy was underpinned by another year of strong financial performance. In
FY26, consolidated revenue stood at ₹42,955 crore, while EBITDA increased 19.2% year-on-year to ₹5,560
crore and Profit After Tax grew 27.4% to ₹3,185 crore. Finished goods sales volume reached a record 2.57
million tonnes during the year, while the balance sheet remained strong with a net debt-to-equity ratio
of 0.15x, providing the financial flexibility to support future growth investments.
Sustainability remained integral to the Company’s manufacturing and growth strategy. During FY26, Jindal
Stainless advanced its 315.6 MW solar-wind hybrid renewable energy project with Oyster Renewable
Energy, its largest renewable energy investment to date. Renewable sources accounted for nearly 47% of
total electricity consumption across its Hisar and Jajpur facilities. The Company also maintained
approximately 70% recycled scrap utilisation in its Electric Arc Furnace-based manufacturing process and
continued progressing towards its targets of reducing Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 50% by 2035 and
achieving Net Zero by 2050.
Aligned with the Company's belief that growth is inseparable from the people and communities it touches,
FY26 saw Jindal Stainless' ecosystem-building efforts take greater shape. CSR programmes like Swachhata
Abhiyaan, Asmita, Sakhyam and Niramaya touched over 1 lakh people, including more than 57,000 girls
and women impacted through skilling projects. Jindal Stainless’ education and skilling initiative, Stainless
Academy significantly expanded its programmes for fabricators, students and industry professionals,
impacting over 82,000 people in the fabricators ecosystem alone.
Consumer engagement also gained momentum during the year with the launch of the Company’s first
national brand campaign featuring brand ambassador Ranveer Singh, the expansion of the Jindal Saathi
programme and continued growth of the Jindal Saathi Pragati loyalty platform. These initiatives reflect
the Company’s continued evolution towards a stronger B2C business model and its efforts to build greater
awareness and adoption of stainless steel across India.
