Pursuant to Regulation 30 oft he Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure
Requirements) Regulations, 2015, and in continuation of our disclosures made from time to time, we hereby
submit the enclosed Press Release issued by the Company regarding the commissioning of its 3 MW solar
power plant at Moda village, Rapar Taluka, Kutch, Gujarat.
The solar power plant has been established with an investment of approximately 7.5 Crore and will be
utilised entirely for captive consumption by the Company. The plant is expected to generate annual power
cost savings of approximately X3 Crore and meet around 40% oft he total electricity requirement of the Kutch
facility.
The commissioning of the solar power plant further strengthens the Company’s renewable energy footprint
and its focus on improving operational efficiency, reducing power costs and promoting sustainable and
energy-efficient manufacturing operations.

Commissions 3 MW Solar Power Plant at Kutch
Covers around 40% of Kutch Facility’s Electricity Requirement
Ahmedabad, 12" August 2026: Sanstar Limited (“Sanstar” or the “Company”) (BSE: 544217 | NSE:
SANSTAR) one of the largest producers of maize based specialty products and ingredient solutions in
India, today announced the commissioning of its 3 MW solar power plant at Moda village, Rapar Taluka,
Kutch, Gujarat.
The solar power plant has been set up with an investment of approximately Rs. 7.5 Crore and will be
utilised entirely for captive consumption by Sanstar. The project has been undertaken primarily to reduce
the Company’s power costs.
The 3 MW solar plant is expected to generate annual power cost savings of around Rs. 3 Crore and meet
approximately 40% of the total electricity requirement of the Kutch facility. The project is therefore
expected to support the Company’s efforts towards improving cost efficiency while increasing the share
of renewable energy in its power consumption.
The commissioning of the plant further strengthens Sanstar’s focus on sustainable and energy efficient
operations. The new 3 MW solar capacity adds to the Company’s existing 3.5 MW solar power capacity
and 1.6 MW of biogas based power capacity at its Dhule facility, further strengthening the renewable
energy footprint and ESG initiatives. With these initiatives, a substantial portion of the Company’s current
power requirements has already been transitioned to renewable sources.
