The group has defined its businesses in two verticals (segments) namely: a) Plumbing (Pipes, fittings, water tanks, bathware). b) Paints and Adhesives (Erstwhile Resinova + Seal IT + Astral Chemie Limited + DSS (Speciality Chemicals)). 2. Consolidated cash (including cash equivalents) and bank balances as at June 30, 2026 is Rs. 4,666 million. Plumbing Business 1. Overall demand scenario in plastic pipe industry was weak in Q1 FY-27, primarily due to volatility in polymer prices and were on downward trend. Due to this the Industry demand was down by appx. 10%. In spite to such a negative demand in Industry, we are happy to share that we are continuously gaining market share in the piping Industry and our growth was highest amongst all the leading players in the plastic pipe industry and we closed the quarter with flat volume. Not only that but we have achieved the highest EBIDTA 18.9% among all the industry players. 2. The realisation was better during the quarter due to that the Q1 FY-27 value growth was 10.1% against the flat volume growth. This will continue in the coming quarter also because PVC prices are inching up in Q2 and also implementation of MIP will also help in stabilization of PVC prices, particularly it will protect the bottom price of PVC. 3. During Q1 FY-27, the Company has increased its Pipes and Fittings production capacity from 4,17,645 M.T. to 4,21,497 M.T.. 4. Our new Plant of CPVC Resin (40,000 M.T.) Phase I is progressing very well and we are going as per our schedule and our plant will be ready by December and trial runs will be in Q4 FY- 27. We are expecting this plant will help us in gaining market share of CPVC Pipe and Fitting and also improve margins. The full benefit will be available from FY-28 onwards. 5. During Q1 FY-27, Bathware business has been grown by 18.1% in Sales. Paints and Adhesives Business Adhesives – Strong volume-led momentum 1. New Bharat accelerated rural expansion, adding 8,000+ towns in Q1 and taking direct dealers beyond 1,500, including 500+ additions during the quarter. 2. Joinery gained encouraging early traction, establishing presence across 8 states; the business will now scale through portfolio expansion, deeper woodworking penetration and continued innovation-led differentiation. ~ ASTRAL 3. Sales through Modern Trade and digital commerce platforms has been expanded and continue to maintain best seller leadership position on such platforms. 4. Construction Chemicals growth driven by the Trubuild relaunch, sharper category focus, and accelerated PAN-India expansion in Tile Adhesives. 5. During Q1 FY-27, Adhesive India Business has delivered a robust growth of 24.9% in Sales with EBIDTA margin of 12.2%. We are continuously gaining market share in Adhesive Business in India but due to higher price of Raw Material in stock and price rise taken place with gap there was a pressure on margin which we are confident will be overcome in next quarter. International Adhesive Business 6. During Q1 FY-27, Adhesive Overseas Business has grown by Robust 26% in Sales with Positive EBIDTA Margin of 4.9%. 7. As communicated earlier, we are expecting excellent recovery of Adhesive Overseas Business during current year and against our guidance of 10%+ revenue growth, we have delivered excellent Growth of 26%.
