Executive Chairman’s Letter
Dear Stakeholders,
It gives me immense pleasure to present Kabra Extrusiontechnik Limited’s (KET) 43rd Annual Report for the financial
year 2025-26.
FY26 was a year characterized by heightened global uncertainty. Geopolitical tensions, supply-chain disruptions,
inflationary pressures, and fluctuating commodity prices continued to test businesses worldwide. Despite these
challenges, India once again demonstrated remarkable resilience, maintaining its position as one of the fastest-
growing major economies. The country's growth continues to be underpinned by strong domestic demand, sustained
public investment, policy continuity, and a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem. India’s economic strength provides a
robust platform for long-term industrial expansion and manufacturing-led growth.
The Government of India remains firmly focused on infrastructure creation, manufacturing competitiveness, and
self-reliance. The Union Budget 2026-27 further reinforced this commitment through increased capital expenditure,
support for MSMEs, industrial cluster modernization, expansion of water infrastructure initiatives, and continued
encouragement for domestic manufacturing. Programmes such as Jal Jeevan Mission 2.0, Smart Cities initiatives,
and infrastructure investments continue to create meaningful opportunities for industries that form the backbone of
India's development journey.
FY26 was a transitional year for KET. The Company’s revenues stood at ₹ 451 crores in FY26. The revenue mix
between the Extrusion Business and Battery Division was 70:30 in FY26 vis-à-vis 74:26 in FY25. EBITDA stood at
₹ 10 crores.
Going ahead, KET continues to leverage its dual-engine growth strategy through its established plastic extrusion
machinery business and the rapidly growing manufacturing of lithium-ion battery packs under Geon. This balanced
business model enables us to participate in attractive long-term opportunities across both infrastructure-led industrial
growth and India's energy transition.
The global plastic extrusion machinery industry continues to offer compelling opportunities. The market expanded
from USD 7.74 billion in 2025 to USD 8.24 billion in 2026 and is projected to reach USD 12.22 billion by 2032
registering a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6.7% during the period 2026-32. Demand continues to be
driven by modernization of manufacturing facilities, increasing automation, higher efficiency requirements, sustainable
materials processing, and growing adoption of advanced extrusion technologies.
Within India, the long-term outlook for polymer pipes remains highly encouraging. Government initiatives to expand
drinking water access, improved irrigation infrastructure, rapid urbanization, and growing construction activity
continue to support strong demand fundamentals. The Indian plastic pipes market is expected to grow significantly
over the coming decade as PVC, CPVC, and HDPE products increasingly replace conventional materials due to their
durability, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability benefits.
As a market leader in extrusion machinery with over four decades of engineering excellence, KET is well-positioned
to capitalize on these opportunities. We continue to invest in product innovation, energy-efficient solutions, advanced
multilayer technologies, and equipment compatible with recyclable and sustainable materials. Our focus remains on
delivering superior productivity and long-term value to customers while maintaining our leadership position in the
industry.
Equally significant is the progress being made by Geon, our energy division. India's electric mobility ecosystem
has crossed an important milestone, with EV retail sales reaching approximately 2.45 million units d
